Privacy policy for Universal TV Remote

Universal TV Remote is made by Digitize.ge. This policy is short because the app collects nothing.

What the app does not do

Universal TV Remote has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking. The developer runs no server for it and receives no data from it.

What stays on your phone

• The names and network addresses of your TVs.
• The tokens and keys your TVs issue when you pair, kept in your phone's secure storage.

These never leave your phone, except that pairing details go to the TV they belong to. Removing a TV in Settings deletes its keys. Uninstalling the app deletes the rest.

The local network

The app finds TVs on your Wi-Fi and sends your button presses and typed text straight to them, over your local network. Nothing leaves your home network. Your phone may ask for permission to use the local network; this is why.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page will say so before the app does.
